![]() Frying Tonight!!! After the workout below I cooked up this little number to refuel...there is a myth out there that a post workout meal must be simple carbs to refuel glycogen stores...that is just marketing hype from sports bar manufacturers...eat to your metabolic type and just add 10% more carbs if you are an endurance athlete. My meal is 6 x sardines,3 x small organic tomatoes,1x clove organic garlic, all lightly fried for a few mins in duck fat in a cast iron skillet. ![]() Yum Yum Put on a plate and add a bunch of organic sprouted broccoli and red clover seeds from my seed germinator...sprinkle with sea salt and organic black pepper add a dash of olive oil and a pinch of organic dried sage...top off with a few organic flaked almonds and enjoy. Unlike a protein bar or shake this meal contains NUTRITION which will give me energy and improve my health...it is 90% organic and took 5 mins to prepare...so much for the "I don't have time to eat healthy" brigade...which is exactly what a friend said to me this morning!!!. This is Aaron Russo who explains how he was informed of the 9/11 attack on the twin towers,11 months before it happened,by his friend Nick Rockefeller...he also details the plan the controlling elite have in store for us...STOP watching TV and reading newspapers expecting to find any truth in them...the "news" is just propaganda designed to brainwash us into accepting the official version of the world...If you want the real truth listen to this interview. ![]() My first love is cycling and between 1976 and 1996 I was a serious road racer and achieved 2nd category status...I also did some time trialling and mountain biking. Although I stopped racing years ago I still cycle to keep fit...My usual route is the hilliest one I can find around Burnham Beeches,Fulmer and Hedgerley and takes me about 40 mins to an hour depending on the route and I guess it is between 18 and 20 miles. The toughest part is always Hedgerley Hill which is only a few hundred metres long but about 1 in 7...I am 6' 1" tall and weigh about 85 kilos so dragging my carcass up there is never easy. The best type of exercise is the one you enjoy to do because that means you will more likely be consistent with it. ![]() This is my racing bike...It is a 58cm Fausto Coppi, aluminium frame,Shimano Ultegra STI levers, rear mech and chainset and Shimano 105 hubs and brakes,Look clipless pedals,Airline 2 wheels with Armadillo puncture resistant tyres. It cost me £950 about 5 years ago and is the best bike I have ever had...I have broken every single frame on almost every bike I have owned except this one which is a testimony to its strength. | ArchivesJanuary 2012 |
