My favourite rock band  are the progressive rock masters YES.

I first got into them in 1977 after listening to their album Going For The One.

I was blown away by their sound especially the bass playing of Chris Squire.

Squire gets an awesome sound from his Rickenbacker Bass and plays it more like a lead guitar.

I have seen Yes live 3 times and their live sound is fantastic.

The above clip is a favourite of mine...the 28 min classic "Ritual" from the awesome album Tales From Topographic Oceans which is a musical interpretation of a footnote about Schastic Scriptures Jon Anderson found in the book Autobiography Of A Yogi about Paramahansa Yogananda.

Sit back...put on the headphones and enjoy some of the best music ever played...it doesn't get better than this!!!
