Moving of Yin and Yang

My favorite place to relax is Dorney Lake near Eton College and I go there almost daily to either run, walk, read or do some Chi Gong.
I have been studying Master Chunyi Lin's Spring Forest Qigong and this is a standing meditation called moving Yin and Yang which is designed to open the two main energy channels in the body.

This is me using my Tai Chi Ruler to do a Chi Gong exercise taught to me by Paul Chek when I did his HLC2 course.

Standing Like A Tree Meditation

This is from the Zhan Zhuang style of Chi Gong...standing still like this for 20 mins is harder than it sounds!!!

Twist Pattern

Chi Cultivating Exercises are what Paul Chek teaches us to use to harvest Chi,or life force energy...he calls it working in rather than working out...working in gives you energy...working out uses up your energy.

Lunge Pattern

Working in uses slow primal movements like squats, lunges and twist patterns and the speed is regulated by your breathing rate...if your breathing or heart rate increase you are doing too much...the intensity should be such that you can do it after a main meal and it will aid your digestion.

I am seen here using a Tibetan Bowl and Stick to create the healing benefits of sound as I strike the bowl in time with my movements.

A Good Read

Afterwards it's just nice to settle down and have a good read.

This is what I am reading...Care and feeding of Indigo Children by Doreen Virtue.
I have got several of Doreen Virtues books and I find her work very uplifting and a perfect antidote to the stresses of the modern world...I picked this one up from a charity shop for £2.49...what a bargain...I have got several great books from charity shops.

Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all. Do you agree?
