Morning Workout 09/08/2009
![]() Ready For Action A couple of Kettlebells and a field is all you really need to keep fit. This morning the sun was out and it was about 23 degrees...perfect. ![]() Clean and Press A nice warm up with some basic movements. ![]() Split Squat and Press
![]() Single Arm Overhead Press This raises the metabolic rate like crazy...great for burning fat...especially done before breakfast!!! ![]() Running with Kettlebells After the warm up it's down to business...running the length of the field and back again whilst holding a 16k kettlebell in one hand and a 13k in the other. ![]() Throwing the Kettlebell After 60 secs rest it's time to throw the 16k kettlebell as far as I can,pick it up and repeat,the length of the field and back again. ![]() Swing and Throw Another variation of the throw is to swing the kettlebell between my legs and hurl backwards over my head...this makes sure I train both the flexor and extensor chains. Alternate a set of running with kettlebells with one of the throwing exercises with 1 min rest between sets...do this for 30 mins and it's time for breakfast!!!
