Palm Chakra
Mandalas are ancient pictures, drawn within a circle, that are used for healing and meditation by Shamans and Native Healers worldwide.
The circle represents eternity and is a symbol of perfection, having no start and no finish.
The space within the circle is sacred and symbolises peace and tranquility,a place where the mind can go to commune with the Great Spirit.
My Mandala depicts the energy vortex or "chakra" located in the palm of the hand...this is used in hands on healing to transmit Chi or Life Force Energy.
The hand is pink and the background green as these are the colours of the heart chakra which is also related to love.
The heart meridian is also located in the palms.
The yellow circle represents the sun as the giver of life and is surrounded by the colours of the rainbow.
The blue triangle represents the connection of the hands to the blue throat chakra.
The symbol in the middle is the Chinese character for Chi or Life Force Energy.
