Went to the cinema last week to see Drive which was very good.
One of the trailers was for a forthcoming film called "Contagion" about a deadly virus spreading fear throughout the world.
It is no coincidence that this film is being released just as the "flu season" starts.
The film is hollywood doing what it is told and programming the unsuspecting public to believe in the "health authorities'" version of how viruses are spread and the best way to deal with them.
The trailer has Larry Fishburne responding to a question about the virus being "weaponised" to create maximum damage...his response is it doesn't need to be weaponised because the birds are doing that.
The inferrence here is that birds are the problem and it's just natural that this virus is spreading.
Well the swine flu last year was 100% man made in a laboratory and deliberately released into the environment to create a market for the poisonous swine flu vaccine that injured far more people than it helped.
Contagion is just the drug companies/"health authorities"...I do laugh when I call them that because health is the last thing they promote... marketing their vaccines and reinforcing the myth that the they are doing all they can to help us and really do have our best interests at heart.
Watch the film with deep suspicion and look out for the subliminal messages being drip, dripped into your subconscious mind.

Danish "Fat Tax" 10/02/2011

Just heard on the radio today that Denmark has introduced a "fat tax" on food ,to try and curb the obesity epidemic, which means "high fat" foods will cost more.
The manufacturers of "low fat" foods must be jumping with joy and they almost certainly had a massive hand in pushing this through the Danish system.
The inferrence here is that "fat makes you fat" when in reality it is SUGAR ,and foods that convert into sugar, that makes you fat.
Poor quality fats and processed vegetable oils are NOT HEALTHY and should carry a health warning but fats from HEALTHY ORGANIC SOURCES are vital to good health.
The problem is that ALL FATS,especially saturated animal fats, are labelled as bad and there is NEVER any mention of the QUALITY of the fat.
So I can only assume that healthy organic butter and red meats and eggs in Denmark will cost more whilst unhealthy low fat, sugar laden, processed cereals and grain products will stay the same price.
In the midst of a recession people will go for cheaper foods and as a result they will get fatter and more unhealthy.
Expect to see the same happening in other countries very soon...the agenda is to demonize fat and convince us all that Mother Nature is wrong and the scientists in white coats are right.

I was saddened, but not surprised, to read last week of certain doctors recommending women get their ovaries removed to prevent ovarian cancer.
This is typical of "modern medicine"...if it doesn't work,REMOVE IT...or now...REMOVE IT ANYWAY...just in case!!!
Why not have your heart removed at the same time to avoid heart disease?
This is ridiculous and I see it as a marketing campaign by surgeons trying to drum up business.
The possibility of cancer is enough to scare many people right into the operating theatre to sign up to have healthy bits of them removed in the name of prevention.
Cancer is caused by many factors but it is far too time consuming for medicine to address these factors because they are SPECIFIC TO THE INDIVIDUAL... so they opt for the easy option..CUT IT OUT....which is the one size fits all paradigm.
Read Paul Chek's book How To Eat,Move and Be Healthy and follow his advice before you even consider having anything healthy removed to "prevent cancer".

I have been attending a weekly psychic development class for the last four weeks.
There are 6 of us and it is devised and run by a lovely lady called Gloria.
The idea is to develop psychic awareness and the ability to tune into spiritual guidance.
The class is the highlight of my week as I really enjoy being around like minded people who are walking the same road.
We meditate and open our chakras then are given an exercise to do such as provide a reading from a picture someone has drawn or an angel card they have chosen.
It is really good fun and an excellent way to start to rely on your own intuition and not always try to question things or place them in a preconceived box.
I am looking forward to practising reading auras

Chi Cultivating 08/25/2011

Went down to Dorney at the weekend and did some Chi cultivating exercises with a tibetan bowl and a stick.

The weather was perfect.
I do get some strange looks from people walking their dogs though...the dogs are even more bemused and often run up to me to see what's going on.

I've just bought some chi balls and a rattle which I will use next time...so the looks are about to get stranger!!!

Abel and Cole 08/25/2011

I have been getting most of my organic food delivered by Abel and Cole for the last couple of months and very impressed I am too.
Their website is the most user friendly I have ever used...you can add or delete items at a click and with a minimum of fuss.
Every Friday I get a reminder that my order deadline is Sat evening for a delivery on Monday.
They collect their delivery boxes and reuse them which is cool.
I have also found I can get hold of Laverstoke Park Organic Beef Fillet without the minimum £30 order and £5 delivery charge you get hit with if you order via their own website.
Abel and Cole also send me free gifts like a box of 6 organic eggs for free every now and then as a thank you for using them...that's what I call customer service.
I look forward to Mondays now as when I get home I am welcomed by a box of tuck!!!

This week I ordered some Organic Edible Flowers!!!
They were very colourful and once I had allowed the assorted creepy crawlies out of the box I washed them and added them to my meal.

Beef Fillet, salad leaves, sage, coriander and flowers...all washed down with a glass of red wine...yeah baby!!!

What I'm Reading 08/17/2011

I bought this great book last week in Waterstones in Basingstoke.
It's very interesting and very down to earth even though the subject is somewhat ethereal.
Good exercises to improve psychic awareness and a no bullshit approach to the subject.

A complete absence of new age "love and light" cobblers makes this a good introduction to the subject for real, hard nosed sceptics.

Bike/Run 08/14/2011

Did a 45 min blast on me road bike this afternoon and immediately went out for a 15 min run on my return.

My calves were almost cramping for the first 10 mins but gradually got used to it.

I did this to experience for myself what those triathletes I have been seeing recently go through...big respek dawgs!!!

This is Susie Poos who has constantly been bugging me as to why she hasn't featured on my blog yet!!!
Well on Friday we met up for a Costa coffee in Maidenhead as she returned from a west cost to east coast bike ride from Cumbria to Newcastle...way aye pet man.
It lashed it down almost all the way...but what do you expect in the UK in August? Sun?!!!
So here she finally is...

Had lunch at my favourite place to eat on Friday...Waltham Place.
I had the combo which is a mix of soup and salad grown on the farm and a selection of bread made on the premises and a helping of raw organic butter.
All this for £6...wotta bargain!!!
