Golf Biomechanic

Golf is a highly athletic event requiring optimal strength,flexibility,co-ordination and range of movement in all major muscles and joints.

The level of muscle activation during the swing is similar to martial arts and hockey and can be as much as 90% of peak muscle activity...that's the same as lifting a weight that can only be lifted 4 times...and golfers do that 30-40 times in a game!!

Combine that with the accuracy required to put the ball where you want it and you can see that golf is a serious test of mind and body.

Many golfers spend thousands on the latest clubs so they can increase their drives by a few metres but completely ignore the fact that the clubs do not play the game...the golfer does.

The idea that golfers need a proper conditioning programme is borne out by the fact that at any one time up to 30% of pro golfers are playing injured...the 3 main injury sites are wrists, elbows and backs.

For a lot less than a new set of space-age clubs I can help you be a better golfer and a healthier person at the same time...what a bargain!!
